About Alexys
Alexys Dowling is a Miami-based singer, songwriter, and performer from Illinois who blends 70s and 80s pop and classic rock with a modern twist, creating music that feels both nostalgic and fresh. Her debut EP For The Better highlights her raw storytelling and classic-rock roots, while her newest direction leans into bold 80s pop-rock, showcased in her disco/pop-rock single “I Might Be The Only One.” A student at the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music, she hones her craft through songwriting, production, and live performance. Influenced by artists like Fleetwood Mac, Heart, and ABBA, Alexys continues to perform across South Florida and Chicago, releasing new music that aims to make listeners feel something real—whether it’s freedom, nostalgia, or the thrill of feeling young again.
